Climate change is a hugely complex issue which connects us all.
We commonly associate it with environmental impacts, from melting ice-caps and changing weather patterns, to ‘natural’ disasters.
But climate change is also a social process. So, the effects we experience as a result of climate will both environmental and societal.
Our habitats and species biodiversity, our mental and physical health; the buildings we live in, the clothes we wear, the food we eat and the air we breathe are subject to changes like never before. Climate change will transform our social, political and economic systems.
The impacts will become more drastic and severe depending on the scale and rate of the planet’s temperature increase. The way we live our lives will dramatically change. Forever.
The time to act - and demand change - is now.
